Published poet, Dewayne Dickerson will surprise you and your loved one with a customized poetry reading when they least expect it. While dinning in the city, sharing a drink at a bar or café or walking down the street, Dewayne will inconspicuously show up and begin to recite his poetry to your lover. As the poem begins, your lover's eyes will widen when they realize this poem has been custom written just for them!

Like to have some fun? Send Dewayne to serenade your lover when you are not there. This could be the way to finally profess your crush or love to them!

This service is available Friday after 6 pm until Sunday at 10 pm in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens. After you supply Dewayne with a blurb about your partner, he will compose the poem for you. Heterosexual, Homosexual, older/younger , interracial- the more interesting the couple the more interesting the poetry! You will be given a copy of the poem after your reading.

Bio

DeWayne Dickerson was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. His first collection of poetry, chunky, was published by v52 press. His unique blend of spoken word and blues fusion became the subject of a B-Roll Films documentary, Incursions in Chunk, which was selected for the 2005 Boston International Film Festival. Currently, he is the host of Williamsburg's Freaky Funky Family Day, which showcases up-and-coming talent from all over the world.
